Award-winning communications professional with 10+ years of consumer focused marketing, public relations and broadcast media background on both the corporate and agency side. Consumer industry focus includes healthcare, wellness, real estate, CPG, retail, non-profit, auto and luxury brands. Andrea's passion includes working with small to medium sized businesses to provide marketing and communications counsel and build out robust plans and programs to help the company achieve growth all while maintaining a positive reputation.
Prior to starting her own consulting practice, Andrea served as an Account Supervisor at a local digital agency where she led client strategy for CPG brands including Nestle, and served as client lead for a team who drove digital marketing initiatives including a website redesign, UX/UI and building an ecommerce platform resulting in increased customer acquisition for Rambler On. Andrea has served as an account leader in several other agencies including Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Steel Branding, where she serviced luxury brands and healthcare clients. Prior to agency life, Andrea was the spokeswoman for Gwinnett Medical Center, a not-for-profit healthcare network, where she managed external relations, crisis communications, produced a local TV program, planned community outreach and managed all media relations resulting in programs still running today while successfully placing the most earned media in the tenure of the position in a top 5 media DMA. One program developed by Andrea included a grassroots initiative with CBS Atlanta, called The Breast Friend Program, which educates women in the Atlanta area on the importance of breast cancer screening.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association and in 2012, Andrea started the AMA's first Healthcare SIG which targets marketers and communicators in the healthcare industry to bring likeminded professionals together for growth and development.
